OBJECTIVEThe objective is to redesign a product that could find a better way to be sustainable either by form, function or life cycle of the product.
SOLUTIONThe Verso brand comes from the word “versatile” to represent a new universal contact lens that features a semi-transparent grid in the center of the lens. The grid adjusts to a consumer’s prescription based on a programmed computer system that links up to a computer chip located in the lens. The advantages of Verso lens are the following: the consumer is only using one pair of contact lenses throughout the year, one universal pair of lenses is being produced which reduces costs and material waste in production by not creating multiple lens throughout the year, and the consumer gets their customized prescription within a short amount of time.</description>

SOLUTIONThe design focuses around the beauty of stained glass. Stained glass gives off a wonderful range of colors, as do trees. Without trees there would be no color to our beautiful city and environment we live in today.</description>

SOLUTIONThe Craftsman brand could offer a men’s bath and body product line. As many tools are usually numbered, so is the packaging. The consumer would know which product they are looking for based on a numbering system. This is similar to looking for a particular tool number. SOLUTIONThe book is about tornadoes. It features on how tornadoes are formed and the intensity of these type of windstorms. The concept is the idea of invading and destruction that a tornado can accomplish. This is visually shown by having columns placed close together to create the feeling of tension similar to the feeling these storms can create.</description>

SOLUTIONThe newsletter “Boiling Point” focuses on how plastics are harming the environment. The inside poster concept makes the statement of not wanting to take a plastic bag because plastic bags will end up out living us.</description>
